Residencia urbana. Urban residence.
Casa desarrollada longitudinalmente sobre un lote de frente corto. La propuesta resalta la comunicación entre el segundo nivel, en el que se encuentra el ingreso, y el piso inferior, en el que se desarrolla la zona social y los exteriores.
Los espacios del nivel inferior se construyen dentro de una caja de vidrio que se vincula directamente con el tratamiento paisajista de los jardines. Ello crea distintas vistas asociadas con el agua, la luz y la geometría de la vegetación.
El segundo nivel, en el que se ubican los ambientes íntimos de la casa, tiene una mayor altura para compensar que su perímetro está cerrado. Las perforaciones de los techos permiten la vista cambiante del cielo durante el día.
La casa se reviste con acabados naturales, de manera que sus colores y texturas cambien con el tiempo, de acuerdo con los comportamientos de los materiales. Estos actúan como diferentes pieles que abrigan el proyecto.
Se recuperan códigos pertenecientes a la primera etapa de Le Corbusier que se sabotean liberando de la gravedad los elementos compositivos con un tratamiento luminoso. La luz también genera distintas experiencias en todos los ambientes a partir de las escenas programadas.
Los detalles cargan el racionalismo inicial, creando una tensión permanente en la que desaparecen los referentes temporales.
House longitudinally developed over a short-front lot. The proposal emphasizes the access from the second level, in which entrance to the house is located, towards the lower zone, in which the social zone and the external areas are developed.
The lower level spaces are built within a glass box linked directly to the gardens that have received landscaping treatment. This creates different views linked to the water, the light and the geometry of vegetation.
The second level, in which the intimate zone is located, is higher to compensate that the entire perimeter is closed. The roofs are perforated to enable the view towards the sky and its changes during the day.
The house is covered with natural finishes, in such a way that these change with time and its colors and textures are settled according to the behaviors of the materials. These act as different skins that embrace the project.
The set recovers Le Corbusier’s first stage codes and sabotages them releasing the composing elements from gravity with a luminous treatment. Besides, light creates different experiences from the programming of scenes in each and every room.
The details load the project’s initial rationalism, thus creating a permanent tension in which the temporary references disappear.
