Hotel ubicado en el desierto costero. Consiste de un edificio central de recepción con servicios y actividades recreativas y una sección de villas conectados por vías.
Se emplea una estética de colores y materiales terrosos y texturados que evocan la arquitectura precolombina desértica de la costa peruana. Se busca el juego de luz y sombra vía luz directa e indirecta, artificial y natural.
El concepto de “oasis” se aplica en todo el proyecto con el agua y refugio del sol como elementos protagónicos en espacios comunes y en cada villa.
A hotel located in the coastal desert, consisting of a central reception building with services and recreational activities, and a series of villas connected by circulation paths.
An aesthetic based on earthy, textured colors and materials is employed, evoking the pre-Columbian desert architecture of the Peruvian coast. The project emphasizes the interplay of light and shadow through the use of direct and indirect, natural and artificial lighting.
The concept of an “oasis” is applied through out the project, with water and protection from the sun as central elements in both the common areas and each individual villa.
